New Year – New Start

Well I can’t believe that we are already three weeks into January 2015.  I have neglected this site somewhat during the last year, mainly because I have been working hard on Shearmyste herself.  I have now decided that I must blog more frequently.  I am hoping to add some new pages showing the work achieved so far and maybe a page on the type of food we eat on board and also some reviews of eateries close to where we have stayed. There is a possibility that we will have to move across to the East coast in the near future and we will have to return to bricks and mortar for a while (work location will be too far from the coast).  That will be very strange!  We took a trip across last week and checked out Grimsby and Hull for Shearmyste.  Unfortunately Grimsby is unable to accommodate a boat of our length as a long term visitor but it looks as though we will be lucky enough to find a berth at Hull Marina (a BWML site).  If it happens we shall be sad to leave Glasson (also a BWML site) where the staff have been fantastic, let’s hope that Hull will be the same.
